PREAMBLE
Violence in society, including education, is a growing concern. ISJS, rooted in ahimsa and universal values, empowers educators to build peaceful classrooms for Generation Z. Its Teaching for Peace program, launched over a decade ago, particularly for North American schools, was widely acclaimed. An abridged version in Delhi’s Jain Shiksha Pracharak Society schools transformed teachers, students, and school culture.
Now, ISJS advances this mission with the Value Education, Peace, and Harmony program—equipping teachers with ethical insight and practical tools to foster positive, harmonious learning.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM
This program equips K 12 educators to nurture ethical, compassionate, and responsible individuals. Inspired by Jain philosophy, it empowers teachers to weave values of non violence, empathy, integrity, respect, and self discipline into classrooms—fostering peace, mutual respect, and social responsibility.

PROGRAM FEATURES

- INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS: ISJS offers interactive workshops that instill universal values—ahimsa, empathy, respect, integrity, discipline—through different types of interactive activities for life, school, society.

- TEACHER TRAINING SESSIONS: Teachers shape students’ character and values. ISJS trains educators to integrate value based education through experiential learning, ethical leadership, classroom harmony, conflict management, emotional well being, and respect driven inclusivity.

- PEACE AND HARMONY SEMINARS: ISJS hosts seminars and panels on peace, ethics, interfaith harmony, non violence, and sustainability. Rooted in Jain values, these programs foster dialogue, respect, diverse perspectives, and peaceful conflict resolution in today’s society.

- CUSTOMIZED PROGRAMS FOR INSTITUTIONS: ISJS designs customized value education programs tailored to age groups, institutions, and goals. Offerings include workshops, courses, faculty development, leadership training, seminars, and integrated modules aligned with each institution’s vision.
